
Following on from a tough year, UK private capital has shown resilience in 2021. At the halfway point of the year, private capital transactions in the UK totaling €85bn have already equaled that of all of 2020. Furthermore, overall assets under management for UK private capital, excluding the UK hedge funds sector, is 3.5x larger than that of France at €780bn.
