Honour Roll 2019: Hedge Funds in Asia-Pacific presents league tables for the top performing hedge funds over the past year. In a period of significant political unrest in Asia-Pacific – investors withdrew a total $19.2bn from hedge funds in Q1-Q3 2019 – we reveal which fund managers have generated the highest net returns.
Highlights of the league tables include:
- Singapore-based Swiss-Asia Financial Services has generated the highest cumulative net return of 314.69% YTD (as of September 2019) for its Vanda Global Fund and the second-highest of 124.38% YTD for its Prulev Global Macro Fund.
- New Zealand-based King Tide Asset Management’s King Tide NZ/Australian Long/Short Equity Fund topped the fund of hedge funds ranking with a YTD return of 21.22%.
- Among emerging hedge funds (less than $100mn in size), Kingsferry Classic Value Fund I from China-based Kingsferry Capital tops the table with a YTD return of 65.77%.
