Founded in 2021 by Stepan Simkin, and based in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, Selimor Investments Limited, trading under the name Squads, operates as a financial technology company that offers a Solana-based multisig platform in which users can secure their digital assets online. In February 2025, Squads raised USD 18 million in venture funding led by new investor Solana Ventures, with participation from another new investor Hon Ventures. Returning investors Coinbase Ventures and L1D also participated in the round. The firm develops and offers smart contract wallets and a library of protocols built on the Solana blockchain for developers and individuals that enables users to manage their treasuries, programs, tokens and validators.
The firm’s product line includes Squads for teams and developers and Fuse for secure individuals. The company will use the February 2025 funding to support the growth and further development of its products.
