Based in Beijing, China, and founded in 2022, Beijing Molecular Heart Technology Co. , Ltd. doing business named MoleculeMind, is a biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) protein design. Professor Xu Jinbo, the company's founder, served as a professor at the University of Chicago.

The company has cooperated with National Labs, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other research institutions to establish the dry and wet labs. It also collaborated with pharmacy corporation, such as Merck, and Roche, to explore AI drug research for gene therapy, and antibody therapy. In September 2024, MoleculeMind closed a series A funding co-led by Cher Ami Wealth & Financial and Shenzhen Capital Real Estate Fund. MoleculeMind developed an AI macromolecule optimization and design platform, MoleculeOS, which uses a data-driven deep learning approach to help biotechnologists identify and generate proteins.

The platform can be used for research and design of peptides, antibodies, enzymes, and small proteins and for protein optimization and design in chemistry, materials, synthetic biology, industry, agriculture, and other fields.   The company generates revenue by developing an AI macromolecular optimization and design platform, MoleculeOS. The company will use the series A funding to further expand the R&D team, improve technical platforms such as the AI ​​protein basic model and AI protein optimization design platform, and accelerate the industrial implementation and commercialization of AI protein technology.
